lazy sunday, no circle

Sunday: MB woke me as she was heading off to church, around 10 AM. I had a very lazy morning. A brief sitting. Some web surfing. Downstairs and made some breakfast (eggs and coffee), listening to the radio. Christine called, and I invited her up. She had some cereal and yerba, and we talked about her upcoming tour, and various band dynamics.

MB returned from attending a OCBC congregational meeting. Amazingly, it was 2:45 PM. Christine headed off. I took a shower. Started working on updating the KKC online calendar. MB needed to use the iMac, so I shifted downstairs. Around 4 we had some tea (cookies and coffee), talking politics. Most of the afternoon was spent on the calendar. I also made a little page with information about Ven. Choden Rinpoche's visit to KKC in November.

We were supposed to have done some busking with the NEGC this evening, but David and Martin were feeling sick. I was too, but not so bad as to keep me from it. MB was having a lesson with Victor, and headed off around 7. She called a bit later to say that since the circle meeting would have just been me, her and Victor, that it might be best for me to stay home, and for it to just be a private lesson for her. That was agreeable to me.

Down basement for daily practices. When I emerged, I began putting a dinner together. MB returned. She made some toast and sat with me while I ate my veggie burger, and leftover chilli and potato. Loaded the dishwasher. Catching up on diarizing. We're going to get to bed on the early side tonight.
