Tuesday: MB got up early and headed out at 7:30. I had to move my car, as I was parking her in. Sat around feeling dazed not quite sure if I should go back to bed or not. Eventually I decided that I'd be useless at work unless I got a little more sleep. Back to bed for two hours. Made bed, shower. Had a veggie burger for breakfast, and milk. Down basement for a sitting and brief morning practices. Off to work. Another very nice day out. Hot even, though we have had whiffs of Autumn already. The first taste of autumn in the air is a bitter sweet pleasure, full of import, to a New Englander.
Today was similar to yesterday: fighting with a plug-in, and with the new SCC system. Made a little progress. Killed a couple of bugs. Reclassified a couple bugs as features. Yee haw. Bit of a headache today. Stayed until about 8 PM.
MB and I did some cleanup in the basement, in anticipation of a friend coming to stay. I'll retreat into my music room for my sittings and she can have the main space. I painted over a spot of mildew, and put in a little strip of vinyl baseboard. Upstairs, I removed the pile of books off my Ovation. The glue-job I did on the bridge seemed to hold as I re-tightened the strings. Played guitar for a bit. Working on the form of a composition that has been with me for a while. MB said goodnight. Made some soup. Now daily practices.
