Sunday: Up around 9:15. MB already downstairs. Shower. Brief sitting. Had some cereal, then headed to Kurukulla, as MB headed to OCBC. Hln led a puja today, since all of our usual teachers are in AZ. It wrapped up early. I took a drive around, winding up back home.
Had some coffee and cookies. Laundry. Played guitar until about 1:40, making a quick recording of my new piece, which I have dubbed Chrysanthemums. Very difficult. Down basement for daily practices. MB returned during. Popped upstairs and said hello. We had lunch of miso soup, bread and cheese. Then, the plan was to go do some other stuff and rendezvous back at 5 PM.
Down basement to wind microfilm. Things were going well, with the advent of a guide, which gave me a more even wind. But then, one of the spools fell apart, and trying to cram it back together again took the rest of my time. Back upstairs, and watched the rest of "Roger Dodger"... a good film, but I didn't quite buy the ending. Back downstairs for more winding. I repaired the spool that fell apart by cutting it into two chunks, then rewinding the outer chunk around the inner. Wrapped up all I could at this point. Will need to order more. Back upstairs, and practiced guitar for a bit, reviewing some material for this evening's circle. Unloaded the dishwasher with MB. Coffee.
Good circle tonight: Me, MB, Victor, Martin, David. We worked on 'embroidery', pentatonic circulation, fast circulation, marching while Thraking, and Askesis. Some discussion about the upcoming Intro to NST course, and how to promote it, as well as some other things on the horizon.
Back home, I made an omelette, which MB and I ate. Email. Updated the OCBC website.
