Sunday: A relaxed morning. Wrote diary entry for Saturday. Shower, breakfast. MB was off at a BD lesson. Down basement for morning practices. When I came back up, a slice of pizza and an open-faced sandwich. Had a nice chat with MB. Some guitar, working on learning the high part of Invention 10, in full. More work on the fence, giving things another shot of stripper, then mildew stain remover, then wood brightener. Lots of scrubbing and water. Should be ready for stain tomorrow. Perfect weather for it. Sunny and cool. Shower. More work on Invention 10. Headed off to guitar circle with MB.
A good session. This was just for people that are going to be playing the wedding gig next week. Dev, MB, Alex L, Martin, myself, Victor. Worked on several pieces: Eye of the Needle, Growing Circle, Hope, circulation (in D Maj, G Maj, C Maj and F Maj), Third Relation, Moving Force. Did some work on Invention 10, but it was decided that it didn't sound good as an ensemble piece with people playing in unison (its wonderful, of course, in circulation). I asked about Ben B at the end, which led into a longer discussion than I was expecting. Some interesting stuff about how teachers have to guard against passing their own disfunction on to their students.
Back home, and some soup and toast, chatting with MB. Soon bed.
