KKC image gallery/Shawn gives a lap-dance.

Sunday: Was up late last night, so slept in, eventually hauling myself out of bed around 11:15. MB was busy upstairs. Made some eggs and tea. MB headed off to run some errands, and possibly hook up with her BD instructor.

I spent much of the day working on an image gallery for KKC. This was a job I'd been putting off. Very time consuming. Lovely day out. Didn't see much of it.

MB returned home. I brought a couple of guitars up from the basement, and spent some time cleaning one of them up, preparing it for sale. (PRS Custom 22, bird inlays).

Around 6:50 PM, Terry called to say he would not make the mini-circle meeting this evening. Martin arrived at 7. I went down basement for daily practices. Martin and MB worked until about 8:30.

At 9, I headed out to a party marking my friend Shawn's birthday. MB stopped in later, and then left before I did. She had a BD gig at the Middle East. She gave S and C a book and a package of photos from our wedding. A fun time, talking about guitars, among other things. One fellow had worked for Ken Parker's guitar shop, and we shared our admiration for the Fly model. Christine and I talked about her upcoming tour with Ziaf. Talked about 'how old you feel.' Tiramisu and lemon sorbet. Prince's Erotic City boomed from the stereo. Shawn, wearing a dress, gave a woman a lap-dance. Left around 12:20.

Back home, and some emailing. MB returned from her BD gig, feeling a little out of sorts. She realized it had to do with an invitation she had received, but not responded to. Strange how something like that can color your experience.
