Amitabha

Sunday: Slept until around 10. MB headed off to OCBC. Snow on the ground. She did a bit of shoveling. Tny called. Read a little from a fiction book a friend suggested. I decided a cup of coffee would be just the thing. Downstairs and breakfast. Fed the cats. Wrote yesterday's diary. Upstairs for morning practices.

Around 1:15 Tny wanting a ride to KKC. MB returned just after. I hopped in the shower. We all headed over around 1:20. I installed a new battery in a wireless mic, and ran sound for the event, which was quite lovely. It was interesting having MB around. Afterwards, I started some MP3 transfers in the KKC basement, then MB and I headed off (after waiting for some cars to move out of the driveway).

We got Indian food in Union Square. The waiter was a bit lackadaisical, but the dinner was delicious. Talked about J's growling stomach, among other things. Home around 7. Wnd had dropped off some frozen bean treats at our front door. No guitar circle tonight. Continued with my practices, in the dance room. Got a call from Wendy about recordings of last years teachings. I had been unhospitable when Tny called before and neglected to invite him up, so at MB's suggestion, I did. He paid us a visit, and we drank tea, and talked about retirement, and the life of Tibetan monks and nuns in India. He left around 10 PM. Listening to some tape transfers, trying to determine the order. Now, perhaps a little guitar, and hopefully an early bed.
