Morning Take 2

Friday: Slept until about 11. Hard to shake this pattern. Downstairs and heated some coffee, and called the financial planner (number 2). Set up other appointments. Emails. Some cereal. Many ants were in the kitchen. I callously vacuumed some of them up. The woman that sometimes comes to do gardening for us showed up at the front door saying the key didn't work in the gate. I put on some pants and gave her the right one. Victor called, I called Shawn, called Victor back and I sent out an email asking about a change of night for the next circle meeting.

Morning take 2: Gave Gus his stuff. Shower. Fed the cats. Down basement. Cut the cats nails. Headed out. A little bit of guitar.

Stopped at the bank and set up a new safe-deposit box. A friendly interaction. In to work. Wrestled with an odd third party device that required another network connection. I'm in a bit of a network ghetto. Finally got things going, and deduced the problem. We'd never had to support something with so much lag time before... Fixed some other bugs. Huge man-hole: an object that served as a pointer-wrapper for another type of object had a method named "release" that did not call the underlying object's "Release" method. Lunch at my desk. Coffee. B showed me how to work the build server. Looked into building an open-source library for Intel. Big nasty problem. Stayed until 11:30 PM. Nice night for a drive.

Home around midnight. MB had just gotten in as well. She's not feeling so good. Made her some toast and tea and put her to bed. Had some of the same myself. More guitar. Email and so on. Soon down basement.
