the kids at the office have the day off
Sunday: A lazy day. MB said goodbye as she headed off to OCBC. I slept in, eventually, showering and having some breakfast (eggs toast etc). My mom called saying she was on the way to the Cape. This is the last time she'll be at her current house there. The closing is in about a week. Lazed around, then down basement for daily practices. MB returned. The endless Latino party across the way was in full swing. The afternoon was spent hanging out, watching bits of The Office and Kids in the Hall. We ate a little Spanikopita. I organized some financial stuff, and did a bit of searching for RAD systems, and financial software. MB headed out for a lesson with Victor. I took a walk around a long block, up to Highland, across on Cedar and back on Broadway. I thought about Unicycles, and about five minutes later a guy passed me riding one. I saw some guys getting busted at a convenience store, and some very nicely dressed people looking like they had just come from church. Back home, some more web surfing, and MB returned. She listened to some Richard Feynman tapes. I practiced guitar for an hour or so, working both with acoustic and (unamplified) electric guitars.
