sukhavati

Tuesday: Slept in a bit, up around 10. Laundry. Fed cats. Shower. Morning practices. Cleaned cat box. Headed off to work.

Drove across town. Quiet day in the office. After settling in, walked out and got a couple slices of pizza (which I brought back to my desk to eat). Asked the guy behind the counter about the new owners of the restaurant. He told me a story about a guy who poured a milkshake into a bag. Continued working on performance tuning. The system is getting better, but still is not as good as the existing one, for total bandwidth. Started looking into why my megabytes per second is so low. Decreased the pre-generation time for some substantial gain. Need to make the whole system self tuning... but before I do that, I need to really understand how the variables interact with each other. Email flurry around the NST Weekend course. By the end of the day, we had a date (which should be posted to guitarcraft.com soon), and I put a check in the mail. Headed home around 9.

Back home, made some soup and a grilled cheese sandwich, which I ate while watching a little more of Being John Malkovich (which I'd started in on last night). Saw a little of a film on Joseph Campbell Quite brilliant, but some of the details regarding Tibetan Buddhism were a little off. In a creative synthesis, distortion is introduced. Worked on guitar, Bicycling and JSB Invention 10. Got a call from MB. Some emailing. Now bed.
