Sunday:
Slept in, waking around 9:45. Too late to get to KKC. Decided to skip it. (Turned out Geshela was in VT anyway.) Lazy day, for the most part. Shower. Cereal and coffee. MB headed off to a rehearsal with Bn. Hung around playing with the new cell phone. I eventually did a sitting and morning practices in the afternoon. Guitar. Hot and humid today. Walked up the road and got some pizza, which I ate sitting in the kitchen. More guitar. Around 6 MB and I ate some fresh corn, and tomato-mozzarella salad. She headed off to a lesson with Victor, and I worked on putting primer on the east side of the house. Completed that just as the sun was going down. The brush fell apart so I didn't have to clean it. Took a quick shower and headed for guitar circle.
Victor bought everyone refreshing drinks. I sang my "Mom's Refrigerator" song for Victor. We worked on Invention 10. I had forgotten most of it, so I had to take myself out of the circle to refresh my memory. We spent quite some time working on playing it accurately. For next time we are to be able to play Eye of the Needle, and Invention 10, without mistake. We worked on an exercise where you say what you are about to do before doing it. Marching with Thrak. Headed home around 10:30. MB headed off to the Middle East for a BD gig.
Back at the ranch, I ate a veggie burger listening to the BBC. The political situation in Iraq is unravelling. Did some work on the KKC website. Wrapping up the day, then to bed to wait for MB.
