walkie-talkie

Friday: MB asked me how I was feeling first thing in the morning, but I was so sleepy, I didn't know how I was feeling. Got up around 9. M showed up to clean the house. Shower. Cats. Had a long talk with her about computers. She needs to upgrade but doesn't know what to get. Down basement for a bit. Did a little straightening around the house, packed some lasagna for lunch, and headed out. Stopped at the donut shop for an egg sandwich and coffee. Lovely weather out. A man who talks to himself incessantly chatted into a, presumably non-functioning, walkie-talkie.

In at the office, investigating the mysterious dynamic_cast problem. Got an energy drink and ate my lunch. Fixed some bugs. One was kind of interesting, where a routine that needed to run when data wasn't needed, was not incrementing a count so that the data wasn't being pulled, so it wasn't ready when the flow resumed. Headed home a bit after 8.

Back at the ranch, MB was still feeling pretty sick (sore throat). And she twisted her ankle. I practiced guitar, and read a little. Gave her a head massage and put her to bed. Some email and such. Computer fussing. Now maybe a walk, then down basement.
