exposed

Thursday: Woke to the alarm at 9:30, having gone to bed after 5 AM. Definitely odd dreams, but not remembered. MB was working at home today, and not feeling well. Cats, shower. MB had bought some OJ and a scone for me, but I just headed down basement. Took some letters to the mail box. Morning stuff. My friend Rch called and we had a fun Q&A conversation for about an hour. Some more stuff. Loaded the car with the guitar. Made a phone call to find how many mantras in a roll of microfilm. Off to work. Nice out, though rain possible.

Arrived just in time to go to lunch with the gang. Main topic of conversation: movies, especially "famous scenes in diners." In the office today, rolling back, as I had suggested, some PPC code to the original assembler seems to have fixed a strange crash bug. Some code I had put in to try and catch bugs in add-ons was now crashing in add-ons that were broken in a new and spectacular way. Spent time weeding through my bug-list. Booked a flight for my video project in August. Talked with B about simplifying the project structure. More time settling into the new machine. Its quite amazing how easy it is to switch to the new Intel based Macs. Worked until about 7:40 and headed for Arlington.

Rehearsal with Shawn, me on acoustic this time. Even more exposed than usual. Worked through most of the stuff we play. Somewhere along in there I started to feel a bit ill... Probably coming down with the same thing MB has. We ended a little early. Headed back home.

MB was not home yet when I arrived. Fed the cats. Ate some soup and bread. Made a cup of tea, then headed down basement. Home to get practices done earlier tonight.
