Tea and Something Evil

Tuesday: Up around 8. Not much sleep last night. Shower. Brief morning practices. No sign of the contractor. Made some breakfast (eggs). The contractor called and said she'd be around at 10:30. Rest of my morning practices. The contractor called back saying she was stuck in traffic. Gave me a much better price than the other two.

Headed to work. Dropped off a DVD at the video store. Tea and 'something evil.' Went back to bug fixing for today. Dnl asked me some questions about disk allocation. Called another contractor with the BTU rating of our existing boiler. Lunch at my desk, thanks to MB. Backed up my laptop. It seems plans are moving forward on a project that I feel is quite misguided. This is an opportunity to practice non-attachment. Headed out around 6:40. Very pretty drive, marred only by my irrational aggression towards cars bearing Republican bumper-stickers.

Arrived for yoga about 10 minutes late. I led a few simple postures as Wendy talked to a visitor to the center. A couple times tonight I felt some strength in places that usually feel weak. Sleepy at the end. Talked to Wendy and Wnd a bit after class.

Back home. The screen door was locked, so I had to go around back to get in. Didn't see much of MB this evening. She was upstairs working on things. Made an egg-drop soup and watched "Law and Order." Wnd's friend's sister had three lines in the show. Grisly episode. Now, a little guitar, then bed.
