Up around 9:30. Shower. Brief sitting. MB and I drove out to the local garden center and bought a couple of climbing hydrangeas and a butterfly bush. Back home, toting them with the top down. Ate a breakfast of odds and ends, hanging out with MB. Down basement for morning practices.
Organized the magazine bin, recycling the bulk of the back issues. Burned some paper in the fire pit. Drove to Porter Square. Attended a concert at St. James Episcopal Church. Small ensembles, solo harp, solo piano. A young girl turned pages for her father. Jun played several pieces and then an improvisation based on a theme given to him by someone in the audience. (several sections: Baroque, Fugue, Romantic and Jazz). Quite brilliant.
Back home. Shopping with MB at the nearby supermarket. Rainy day. We put away groceries, then took stock of the baseboard radiator covers that need replacing. We cooked dinner together. An improvisation on leftovers. A stir-fry, over riced-potatoes, with a curry sauce. Ate watching an episode of "The Wire." Mta and F showed up briefly, picking up a few CDs to borrow. Cleaned up. Another episode. Soon bed.
