Monday: Strange energy boost visited me in a dream last night. Up around 8:30, as MB headed out. Brief morning practices. Shower, then down basement for the rest. Fed the cats. Headed to KKC.
Swept up the teaching room. Said hello to Geshela and Damchoe. Filled water bowls. In to work.
Chased down a bug in some third party code today. This is really a full time job. Thinking a lot about "plan b" today. Got a note from my mom. Wish I had given her a call yesterday. More code on my new project, header jockying giving way to some preliminary methods. Lunch at my desk. Walked out to the pharmacy. A young spunky jazz quartet (stand-up bass, drums, two saxophones) were blaring away at the pit. I pondered the question "Am I able to hear and see at the same time." Left work at 6:30.
KKC: Geshela's third and final evening of commentary on the short Y.S. A bit compressed at the end, I thought. Many questions still unanswered. Said a brief hello and goodbye to Wnd. Had a nice conversation with Wendy about practice, and yoga.
Stopped at the grocers on the way home, giving MB a call to help me with the list. Shopping. Back home a bit after 10. Put away groceries. We talked about some news stories we'd heard today, and Josephine Baker's "Rainbow Tribe." Email. J is back from Japan.
