Monday: Slept in a little, ignoring alarms. MB left early to go to a meeting in NH. Eventually out of bed. Email. Shower. Brief morning practices, then over to KKC. Drove behind a car with the bumper sticker "Guns don't kill people, abortion clinics kill people." The water bowls had to be emptied before they were filled. Swept. Didn't see anyone but heard voices. Ngawang is leaving for India today. Back home, the rest of morning practices. Put my CD for J in an envelope. Moved some kitchen stuff down basement. Washed a few dishes.
Stopped by the PO and put my CD in the mail. Chilly and overcast. In to work (very late). Made some phone calls about the furnace, and getting the dishwasher fixed. Completing less interesting, but necessary, parts of the new project. Fixed some flaws in the code I'd written on Friday. Cold in the office. Talked to B about how things are going. Talked to M about frame formats. Decided not to try to go see Ngawang off. Worked until a little after 9.
Back home, said hello to MB. Talked about Gus' pills. Ate a veggie burger listening to a show on NPR about pension funds. I'm not sure which makes me feel more like I'm about "over the hill": the dusting of gray hairs I noticed in my temples today, or the fact that I found this topic really quite interesting. Played electric guitar for about an hour, doing some composition for J, and a little recording for S. It felt good to be fully engrossed. MB is already asleep. Me soon too.
