The World's Blind

Wednesday: Woke around 8:30, MB trying to communicate with me, and not having much success. She left. Up, email, Gus, shower. Downstairs and some breakfast. The new cleaning people arrived. They got to work, and I went down basement for sitting, accompanied by the sound of the vacuum. I wrapped up just as they were done. Drums. Cleaned up the new desk area, and found a clever way to fix the edge of the counter. Also fixed a lamp. Upstairs, and noted a few things that weren't quite right. Minor, for the most part. Packed up with car with my electric and acoustic guitars and associated gear. Off to work.

Before going to the office, went to the bank. Deposited the loot from the yard sale. Opened a new special purpose account. Fixed some bugs. B asked me "are you still fixing bugs?" I said "I'm fixing bugs until you tell me I'm not fixing bugs." Also talked to J about the obstinate developer, who remains obstinate. Took a walk out for pizza, and the low-rent nearby pizza shop, which I've been going to for over 10 years, has been replaced by a high-rent pizza shop. Met Shawn at 7:30, and drove to Arlington. Hit traffic on the way.

MB was waiting for us when we arrived. The normal way in didn't work, so had to go around. Very good rehearsal, with MB mapping out some of our pieces. Really feels like she's a third member of our team. Looking at our set for Friday. A string on my acoustic was broken when I opened the case, so I played everything on electric. Fun! Worked with Shawn on my new piece "All the World's Blind." It's basically done.

Dropped Shawn home, then back over the Somerville Hill. Email, and worked on CD for tomorrow's class.
