Newport

Sunday: Woke around 10. Up and morning things. Down basement. Called Alphonso about house cleaning tomorrow. Lots of noise on their end made it hard to talk. MB and I got on the road around 12:30. Stopped at the donut shop for egg sandwiches. Rainy and overcast for the drive down to Newport. Stopped for more coffee and chocolate at a natural foods store named "Bliss."

A day of socializing with old friends of MB's. Genevieve has a very large vocabulary, and is cute as a button. Also, two young adopted Asian girls were shy at first, but eventually began to play the "does this hurt?" game with me. We stayed until about 8:30. Stopped for expensive coffee on the way back. Today all prices were internally in terms of wind-chimes, and geegaws.

Back home a bit after 10 PM, and completing the day.
