Monday: Good sleep last night, although I woke up and stayed awake for perhaps an hour around 3 AM. MB headed off to work, and I got up a little before 9. Brief web. Shower. Cats. Pretty day out again today: warm for this time of year, and clear. Down basement for morning practices. Put water on to boil. Put away laundry. Breakfast. Made various travel arrangements for the NST weekend. A bit of guitar. Headed off to KKC.
Realized my car needed to be inspected, so stopped and had that done. At the center, did some sweeping. Hm was there and we chatted a bit. Filling water bowls, I noticed I hadn't spilled a drop, and then promptly spilled a drop.
In to work. Spent all day rearranging projects, in order to work around a problem in the way we have been linking to debug builds of libraries. Some consulting with Al and B about the range of a parameter for a new feature. MB wrote to say she was meeting her friend Cr in Salem for Halloween festivities. I decided to just work late. Walked out and deposited pay. Got a couple of slices of pizza from Pinocchio's. Received an email from the guy that bought my Larrivee. He's a cop in Miami, and said he's been working basically non-stop since Wilma came through. The truss rod wrench escaped from the compartment in transit, and scratched the guitar a little. That's a bummer. I offered to help pay for repairs.
Stopped at the video store on the way home. Couldn't find Dr. Strangelove. The two employees on duty tried to help, but none of us could find it. Finally found the VHS copy, and headed home. MB and I watched about the first hour. She headed to bed. I'm going to follow before long. Two heat-seeking cats are sitting on me.
