TG & AE

Sunday (Norwalk CT): Up at 7 AM, sitting, shower. Downstairs and breakfast with mom (eggs, toast, tea). Enjoyable conversation. Brought some dog food in from the car for her. Headed out around 9.

Uneventful drive into NYC. Made it in by around 10:15. Figures... Found parking right away. Walked around some, and realized there was more parking even closer, so moved the car. At 11, lesson with TG. He said it was less good to see me this week, because it hadn't been very long since the last time he saw me. Articulation of Where is the Nurse bass. And some of the arpeggios. Left just after noon.

Met AE at the Virgin Music store near Union Square Park. Had a nice lunch at a vegetarian restaurant named Angelino's (I think). Visited a bookstore. Thought about seeing a movie, but decided just to walk around. Spent some time in a Starbucks. A row of people working on laptops had their backs to us. One woman was looking at a series of hi res photos of the insides of people's mouths. Dental school, I assume. Took the subway back to my car. Gave AE a ride home.

Called mom and MB on the drive back to Boston. Rainy. Traffic came to a dead stop somewhere in CT. Sat there for about 20 minutes. Eventually moving again, no sign why. With bumper to bumper traffic, a guy flicked his high beams behind me. Then he somehow managed to pass me on the right and get in front of me. I turned my high beams on for his driving pleasure until our ways diverged. Got a slice of pizza at the first rest stop in MA.

Back home at just about exactly the same time MB got in (10:30). Unloaded cars. Feeling quite wiped out. Helped her make the bed. Down basement to complete the day.
