breakfast in bed, in the afternoon

Sunday: I had gotten an hour of a sort of half sleep, when Gus came in the room and shook litter from his foot onto my head. Picked him up and washed him off in the bathroom sink. MB again headed to Third Life for dance practice, although she'd only had about an hour and a half of sleep. She returned around 9. I slept until 2 PM. Got up and made us some breakfast, which I carried upstairs to her, still sleeping. We ate, and then she cleaned up a little while I showered.
She took off to an Franklin. I played some guitar. Email. Made a "what to take" list for our tirp. Took a longish walk. Deposit at the ATM, and up over the Broadway hill. Lovely sunny day.
Back home, then down basement and practices. Headed out to Guitar Circle just after 8. Would have liked to have left earlier.
Arrived at the dojo at the same time as MB. In the circle, we spent a good bit of time looping sections of Third Relation. Ran through the rest of our material for the Earth Day gig. Invention 1 was "almost" tonight. I felt quite confident playing Eye of the Needle tonight, focusing on dynamics and articulation. I think other than one dropped note I didn't make any gross errors. Afterwards, I gave Victor a quick run-down of the Growing Circle lead, and asked him a question about thumb position in "Lark's."
Back home, I made "American Chop Suey" with the leftover noodles from Friday night, plus some soy-ground-beef analog, onions, cheese and tomato sauce. We ate that plus salad, talking about MB's day. Both tired. Soon bed.
