Departing Camp Caravan

Sunday: Woke to the alarm at 6:30. Decided to not jump right out of bed. Personal practice in bed, then headed to group sitting. Sleepy and sniffly. Last breakfast at Camp Caravan. Cheese polenta (sort of like grits) with a couple hard-boiled eggs chopped into it. And some granola. MB was around... she had taken Mark Burgess to the airport at 4 AM, and had almost made it back for morning sitting. Around 9 I went and knocked on the door of Cabin 1 to get Chris and Collin up. They had apparently been up late. Began the process of taking down my tent. Shower. Completed taking down the tent. Shaved. Goodbyes. For some reason I was feeling a little detached. Moved my stuff into the house. Around 10:45 Chris Collin and I headed out. A fairly quiet ride. I asked Collin some about his life in Chicago, and we talked about The 4th Way and Buddhism. Chris was feeling a little car sick so we stopped briefly at a convenience store. Dropped them at terminal B at Logan airport. Didn't have any cash on hand for the tunnel toll, so drove back through Revere. Stopped home and fed Oscar, who seemed quite ravenous.
Sleepy drive back to Camp Caravan. A little hanging and talking with Mark Nancy and Dev who were some of the last ones left. Elan was doing some gardening. I said I could see a longer Guitar Craft course at Camp Caravan, with an integrated Work component. He agreed, and said they would love to have us back. I loaded the car while MB helped with some completion tasks. She drove us back to Somerville, with pleasant conversation, reiterating parts of the course. Back at the ranch, some unpacking and going through accumulated mail. Got a call from Dev saying that Collin had a problem with his flight. Later we learned that he had found a solution. We took a nap (she'd only gotten two hours sleep, and I not much more). I woke around 7:30 and gave her a nudge. She wanted to continue sleeping. Down basement. Going through email. Unpacking. Unrolled the tent to let it dry and immediately began sneezing. Evening practices. Now bed.
