Monday: Actually got a decent amount of sleep last night, waking around 10. Up with MB, gave Gus his treatments while MB showered. Shower. Down basement for morning practices. At 11:30 we headed out (raining).
Dropped 4 copies of the new DVD off in the mail. The guy behind the counter was singing "The midnight hour" along with Wilson Pickett on the radio. Then over to Medford to drop a disc of audio files off at a colleague of MB's house. We had breakfast at Kelly's Diner. The roof and the windows were leaking a little, and much of the space felt cold. The down-sides of an authentic '50s trailer style chrome diner, I guess. The waitress (who calls everyone 'honey') spilled my OJ all over the table, but no harm done.
Back home, paid bills in the basement, then some drums. Bye to MB and off to work.
At the office a short day. Didn't get a lot of coding done, but did have a brief but productive meeting with B about a feature that I wanted to have some input on. We were a lot closer together than either of us had thought. We'd both been bracing for conflict. Headed off at 5:30.
KKC and another three hours of Lam Rim Transmission. Geshela is almost complete, and I actually did complete my scan of the English translation about a half hour before the session ended. A great announcement at the end of the evening: Ngawang is now Geshe Ngawang. Stayed to take down the altar. The fair with the "Cobra" ride was gone today.
Back home, MB had made salads. We ate those and also some leftover Chinese food. Now down basement.
