A pleasant drive down to a BD paraphernalia store in RI. However, at one point, a pick-up truck cut across 4 lanes of traffic, forcing another car to swerve to avoid being hit, and then swerve again to avoid going off the exit. Dropped MB at the shop, then drove around a little, eventually sitting and watching planes take off at the nearby airport. Picked MB up, then off to Martin's.
A lovely day for the luau, clear, sunny but not too hot. Hellos. Put my guitar upstairs. Made veggie burgers. MB and I sat eating on the steps of the neighbor's house. Up to the attic room for warming up the hands. MB joined me. Jn, whose wedding we played, was doing a solo looping stick thing. Fun. Victor arrived. Alex. David and family. After a guy who sang to sequences, we set up the stools and got wired. Circle up at the other side of the property. The young girls hand taken over the attic room, and had anointed my guitar case with watermelon soda.
We went on, and played a set. A bit rough from my point of view. The balance was not good. Thrak was loud and powerful. Noah kept yelling "Encore" and "Ready Set Go", but wouldn't on queue. David asked someone smoking a cigar, to put it out. I led off, and a closing circle. A couple of Crafties from NYC played after us, but they didn't leave us any time to strike our gear, so our choices were, disturb them, or wait until the end of their set. I chose the latter, and was happy. They were fun to listen to . Packing up, goodbyes, and so on.
More or less uneventful drive back to Boston, tucking MB in. Now down basement.

Correction: N is getting in touch with his inner Anglophile and says "Ready, Steady, Go!"
