Thursday: Up around 8. MB headed out. Sponge bath and so on (still no hot water). Morning practices in the bedroom. Gave And a cup and a washcloth. Packed my stuff into the car. Talked to the plumbers. They said that an external air intake was not necessary, and assured me that the job would be done by the end of the day.
Drove over to Jun's. A good session, reviewing some stuff. I played a composition for him a couple of times. We worked on improvisation. Difficult trying to play with him... I'm so out of my league. That's a good thing. Afterwards, pizza, as per usual.
In to work. Talked with J about the Intel switch. Fixed a crash bug that I had run into last night. Saw B in the keynote audience. Lunch at my desk. Left around 7:45.
Productive session with Shawn. I downloaded the rest of my new composition to him, and we managed to make it through a couple of times. Afterwards I said "It's strange to share something so complicated that I've invented with someone else. It's a little like 'now its your problem too!'" He told me an old band-mate of ours will be in town.
Back home, unloaded the car, then found a parking spot. Still no hot water. Strange, because it looks like the work was almost done, and there wasn't any note saying what happened. MB went off to bed. I ate a faux-chicken sandwich, then worked on Beatles songs for an hour or so. And came in from visiting a friend as I sat down to answer emails.
